Cynthia was born in Wellington, New Zealand, the middle child
of three siblings, but lived much of her childhood in Nelson.
Being skilled in many different crafts, her early training was
in this area but she went on to study and become a primary school teacher.
During the early 70s her teaching took her to Nova Scotia, Canada, for two
years. While away, she traveled in Europe, Britain and United States.
In 1974 she married David, and they have two grown children.
She has lived in Christchurch for all of her married life. Cynthia loves music,
wood carving, photographing the beauty of Nature, and gardening. She has worked
as a semi-professional wedding photographer for a few years.
Her skill in writing is a latent gift. The Saviour, who became
real to her in her teens, has quietly inspired her. She has self-published two
booklets of devotional stories which are based on simple life experiences. As
well, she has produced a booklet on various versions and thoughts on Psalm 23.
She is a warm, caring and loving woman.
